About JoJo
JoJo Herrera is a on air radio personality. He was born in Pearsall, TX and a 1981 graduate of Pearsall High School. JoJo started his radio career right before graduation in the early 80’s. He worked at KVWG a local radio station in Pearsall, TX. He then moved to Corpus Christi to work at KCCT with Manuel Davila. After several years in Corpus, JoJo then moved to San Antonio worked for KEDA and he was one of the originals who worked the night radio shift at KBUC which was bought over and was one of the originals that started with San Antonio's KXTN AM. Also, worked at La M Grande, KRIO, Radio Festival and KLMO. JoJo also continued his love for media and worked as a cameraman and production at KMOL TV / WOAI. He worked the 5AM. 6AM, and SA Living newcast/show. He has done some freelance work for KLRN, ESPN and LCTV Broadcast Production Services. He has been in a few movies as an extra on movies like Selena, Rough Riders, All the Pretty Horses etc.” Currently one of the owners of the newly formed Tejano Weekend Warriors / Toy for Tejanitos and Tejano Up Radio companies.
